Safety FAQ

Questions Retailers & Parents Ask Us

Which test report comes with my order by default?

Specific safety testing requirements can be arranged according to the order, target market, and buyer requirements.

Do I need my own CPC (Children's Product Certificate)?

If you are the US importer of record, CPC requirements should be reviewed with your compliance team or broker. We can support testing documentation according to order requirements.

What lab issues the report?

SGS, Intertek, or TÜV Rheinland — you pick. All three are globally recognized; your retailer's compliance team will accept any of them.

How long is a test report valid?

Typically 12 months per batch. If you reorder the same SKU within 12 months and materials are unchanged, the existing report extends to the new batch (subject to random re-test).

What's the CPSIA tracking label requirement?

Tracking label requirements can be reviewed according to target market and buyer requirements.

Can you handle licensed-character plush?

Licensed-character production requires buyer-provided authorization before bulk production. FAMA-related documentation can be reviewed when required by the licensor or buyer.

What if my retailer requires a specific lab they use?

Fine — we'll work with whatever lab your retailer specifies. Occasionally adds a small coordination fee, but the flexibility is there.

Can you review special fabric requirements?

Yes. Fabric, filling, recycled-material, or other special material requirements can be reviewed according to buyer requirements and available supplier documentation.

Need compliance paperwork ready for your retailer?

Send us the retailer's spec — we'll match the report to their intake checklist.
